Radar systems
- The advantage of radar technology over other sensor concepts such as LiDAR is its impressive resistance to adverse weather and environmental influences such as rain, fog, or dust.
- With our off-highway premium radar system, we offer a robust sensor with high performance from our automotive portfolio, adapted to the needs of the construction machinery market.
- The high-resolution radar produces a point cloud with a resolution that is ten times higher than earlier system generations. As a result, objects that are positioned very close together in the detection area (x, y, and z coordinates) can be distinguished with even greater accuracy.
Ultrasonic sensors
- Our ultrasonic systems for construction machinery cover a wide detection range (up to 360° panoramic view) with up to twelve ultrasonic sensors.
- Depending on the configuration, the sensors measure only the distance or also offer object localization.
- The safety function with performance level D according to ISO 13849 includes the distances recorded by the sensors using direct echoes.

Electrification components
Our compact and powerful electric motors for agricultural machinery are available in threetwo power ratings of 90 kW, and 140 kW, and 190 kW. The motors feature a special design that is characterized by its high-power density and exceptional efficiency. This is combined with inverters and transmissions to provide you with a tailored system solution from a single source. The INVCON3.3 inverter with an integrated DC/DC converter serves as a customized control system for the Bosch electric motors in mobile machinery with 400 V battery systems. The INV4 inverter uses the latest silicon carbide semiconductor technology to enable maximum efficiency in 800 V systems. The easy configuration enables rapid adaptation to different applications.
